Medical Assistant

Educational Objective:

To train students in acquiring skills and competence in back office procedures including injections, electrocardiograph, venipuncture, and front office business procedures to include insurance coding and billing. Upon completion, students will be qualified to assume entry-level positions as Medical Assistant. The graduate will also be eligible to sit for the Certification for Medical Assistant Examination Sponsored by the Certification Board for Medical Assistant in the areas of Administrative and Clinical.
